Reservation Policy & Guest Notice

  1. For direct bookings with us, a deposit of 50% of the room price is required within 2 days of placing your booking, in order that your reservation may be secured. For internet bookings, kindly adhere to the internet booking engine's guidelines on Credit Card preauthorisations or payment.

  2. For guests with Taiwanese bank accounts, the preferred method of payment for the deposit is via bank transfer. International guests may elect to to pay their booking deposit via VISA/MASTER credit card, Paypal or bank transfer in New Taiwan Dollars, in addition to the additional administrative charge imposed by their respective credit card provider, Paypal or bank. Details of these will be relayed via a separate email to the guest.

  3. Confirmation of your reservation will be sent via email after we receive your deposit. Kindly pay the balance of your room price in cash (NT$) upon check-in.

  4. A verification of identification of our guests is required upon check-in, by way of the presentation of a valid Passport or ID Card.

  5. Check-in Time: after 3pm (Kindly inform us of your estimated time of arrival for us to welcome you!)

  6. Check-out Time: by 11am

  7. Breakfast: served from 8am to 9am

  8. The Sunbeam Hideaway is located in a courteous and quiet residential estate which values personal privacy. For the comfort of all our guests and friendly neighbours, we request that noise levels be kept to a minimum.

  9. Smoking permitted, but strictly only at the outdoor balcony areas.

  10. No pets allowed.

  11. Whilst reasonable steps have been taken to ensure the care, safety and security of its guests and their belongings within its premises during their stay, the Sunbeam Hideaway B&B will not be responsible for any injury, death or loss of or damage to personal belongings sustained on its premises. 

  12. All personal information requested of our guests, whether for the purposes of online payment or identity verification upon check-in, etc., will be kept in strict confidence.

  • Tranquility Suite (4 persons)

    • *SMTWT=NT$11,000/day; **FS & P/H=NT$11,800/day; Weekly=15% off 7 daily rates; Chinese New Year Season=NT$15,500/day

  • All Three Suites

    • *SMTWTFS & P/H=NT$25,000/day; Weekly=additional 15% off; Chinese New Year Season=NT$35,000/day

Cancellation Policy

  1. A full refund of your deposit, excluding bank or credit card transactional charges, will be returned to you should you decide to cancel your reservation 10 or more days prior to your check-in date.

  2. A refund of half of your deposit, excluding bank or credit card transactional charges, will be returned to you should you decide to cancel your reservation from 4 to 9 days prior to your check-in date.

  3. Your deposit will be forfeited should you decide to cancel your reservation within 3 days prior to your check-in date.

  4. In the event of a government-sanctioned official shutdown of services due to typhoons or other natural calamities, a full refund of your deposit, excluding bank or credit card transactional charges, will be returned to you.

The Sunbeam Hideaway Bed & Breakfast reserves the right to amend its prices and the above terms and conditions, at any time & without prior notice.
